Natalie Wood's Mysterious Death is Being Investigated Again

The Case of Natalie Wood, Death by Drowning has been reopened by the LA County Sheriff's Department

Near the 30 year anniversary of the death of Natalie Wood, one of America's legendary actresses, new evidence has prompted the new inquiry surrounding the circumstances of her death on November 29, 1981...At the time of her death there were three other people aboard the yacht which she owned with herhusband, Robert Wagner, the star of the television series Hart-to-Hart...Some of the inconsistencies in the stories of the persons on board the yacht, Splendour, surround whether she had gone to her stateroom before her husband and others and whether or not the family's guest Christopher Walken had retired before Natalie had...Her husband, Robert, has claimed that he last saw her alive in their state room as she was doing something with her hair...He then returned to the deck area to socialize more with their guest, Mr. Walken...Mr. Wagner's version of the tale of that night's unfortunate turn of events changed in regards to how the bottle of wine was broken...While the main person with a completely different narration of events was the captain of the boat for the evening, Dennis Davern...Mr. Davern has worn many hats in respect to his relationship with Robert Wagner and his deceased wife Natalie Wood...Dennis Davern has been reported as having been a bodyguard to Natalie and a confidante...Other times he has been described as a former roommate to Robert Wagner...And right now he wears the hat of co-author of a book with Marti Rulli entitled, Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour...Mr. Davern's most recent account of that fateful night involve accusations, arguments and unexplained bruises...


Natalie Wood's drowning occurred as the Splendour was anchored just 50 feet off the coast of Santa Catalina Island...There was heavy drinking by all parties onboard the Splendour that terrible night...Dennis Davern's latest version of events states that he and Robert Wagner discussed exactly what they would tell the investigators after Natalie's disappearance from the boat, to be certain their narrations matched up to ensure that there would not be any need for a more thorough investigation into her death...And of course, Natalie's death was ruled to be accidental drowning (see archived CBS News video below from 1981)...Not only has Mr. Davern's eyewitness account probably instigated the investigation into the cause of Ms. Wood's death being reopened, another witness, Marilyn Wayne says she heard a woman repeatedly screaming for help that night...Ms. Wayne says she tried to contact authorities on the night that Ms. Wood died, but there was no answer...The last scream that she heard in a woman's voice was around 11:45 pm that night...After Ms. Wood's body was found, a medical examiner said that Natalie Wood's finger were still pliable, meaning that rigor mortis had not set in...This fact alone leads him to believe that if they were alerted sooner she could have been saved...Natalie Wood's body was recovered six hours after she was reported missing...

In Mr. Davern's new account, he says that Mr. Wagner did not want the search light turned on and that he waited before placing the call to report his wife missing...Everyone associated with the couple considered them to be deeply in love...This was the second time they had been married to each other...Some, including Mr. Davern say that Mr. Wagner was extremely jealous of and over his wife...Mr. Davern recounts on that evening Ms. Woods and Mr. Walken, her co-star from the movie Brainstorm, were getting a tad bit too chummy, for Mr. Wagner...And his anger is what led to Mr. Wagner breaking the bottle of wine on the coffee table...Originally Mr. Wagner told investigators that the bottle fell and broke as a result of the yacht being tossed about in the waters...Later in a book authored by Robert Wagner, he says that he broke the bottle while having a heated discussion with Mr Walken...

The crazy sordid details that have been uncovered by investigators of both Vanity Fair's contributing editor Sam Kashner and CBS's 48 Hours investigative reporting team likely contributed to the investigation being reopened by the LA Sheriff's Department...The original article was published in Vanity Fair ten years ago, around the 20th anniversary of her death...And Reuters reports that an attorney out of Washington D.C. has been petitioning for a reopening of the case...

Boxing fans worldwide and Hip Hop Music fans around the globe are mourning the deaths of two great men, each in their respective arenas...Boxing legend "Smokin' Joe" Frazier died from the effects of liver cancer at the age of 67 in Philadelphia on the same day as "Heavy D" on November 7, 2011 (I apologize for erroneously reporting that Joe Frazier and Heavy D died on the same day...The news reports of both deaths were heavily reported on the same day November 8, 2011)...Heavy D died on November 8, 2011 at a hospital in Los Angeles at 1pm...

Joe Frazier's professional boxing record was 32-4-1 with 27 knockouts...He held the World Heavyweight Championship belt from 1968 to 1973...Before turning professional, Frazier also won the heavyweight gold medal in the 1964 Summer Olympic Games...Although he defeated Muhammad Ali, his archenemy, in the 15th round in the 1971 "Fight of the Century", he was defeated by Ali in the 14th round in the 1975 "Thrilla in Manila" fight in the Philippines... The infamous boxing promoter Don King said that Frazier was, "the embodiment of what a great heavyweight champion and person should be."...





Sadly enough Dwight Arrington Myers, bka "Heavy D", also died on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 44 apparently of respiratory distress after having flu-like symptoms the day before prompting a visit to the
doctor...And his cousin, Ruddy Phillips said that he had been complaining of having a "touch of pneumonia"... Heavy D turned actor after first achieving success as a rapper, record producer, singer and the former leader of Heavy D and the Boyz...Heavy D was nominated for several awards including four grammys and won the award for Best Rap Album in 1990 at the Soul Train Awards...Having acted on television and in motion pictures his latest work can be seen in theaters now in the film "Tower Heist", which was premiered just four days before his death...







It's truly a sad and crazy coincidence that these two truly great men died on the same day...

NBA Lockout Nets No Trip to The Presidents Cup for Jordan....

Fantasy sports is probably what most red-blooded American men go for...Well there are plenty of choices out there...Yahoo! Fantasy Sports has games for baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, pro football, college football and auto racing...ESPN Fantasy has football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer and rugby...Now all of this fantasy sports game thing is foreign to me...So maybe one of my readers can clue me in as to how all of this works...Cause to be totally honest, "I am clueless on this one"...I can't even fake it to make it...Crazy, I know...

Now if you give me some hard-core real sports, I'm there...You know, The World Series, The Super Bowl...I'm with ya, then...I've partaken in a seventh inning stretch at least once... And back in the days I've been to the Superdome to watch the New Orleans' Saints play (or rather get slaughtered; that was pre-Katrina of course)...Now golf, that's probably my dad's favorite sport (I think so, because he still is able to do it)...Truth be told my dad loves all sports...I'll have to ask him what he thinks about this NBA Lockout, though...

Poor Michael Jordan had to cancel his trip to Australia because of the NBA Lockout... Michael Jordan is majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats and he was due to be assistant captain for the U.S. team at the Presidents Cup Golf Tournament...But Jordan was fined $100,000 for speaking about details of the lockout in an August 19th interview with The Herald Sun...Cancelling his trip is probably for the best since Kim Kardashian left for Australia on November 2nd...Wouldn't want the two of them crossing paths and some new crazy chapter gets kicked off for the Kardashian Klan's drama ridden reality TV lives...Although I'm not sure if she is scheduled to be in Australia on November 16th for the opening ceremony of the Presidents Cup anyway...

A Kouple of Months after Kim Kardashian's Wedding...

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian's marriage may be on the rocks, only two months after their two-day televised wedding event...Apparently there are a couple of reasons for their lack of marital bliss...I think that number one is that there's not been enough quality time for just the two of them away from the cameras and the rest of the Kardashian Krew...And secondly, with the NBA Lockout, Kris has too much time on his hands, while Kim on the other hand has been working, working, working...If only there were a way that Kim and Kris could take advantage of Kris's time off and sneak off to have a private honeymoon to make babies and plans for their future, then maybe, just maybe they could pull through... Krazy situation...A planned pregnancy might be just the thing to put things in perspective...

Another couple that's under a lot of public pressure right now is Baby Lisa's parents...The 11-month old missing baby's brothers will be questioned again and her parents have never been questioned separately...Supposedly because approximately one hour after Baby Lisa's father called 911 the police were interrogating Lisa Irwin's mom as though she had murdered her own child...Although there are several witnesses that have come forward to say that they saw a  man carrying a baby similar to Baby Lisa in the vicinity of the Irwin's home around the time she disappeared, no arrests have been made...Again, Lisa Irwin's family is asking anyone with information related to her disappearance to call the TIPS Hotline @ 816 474 TIPS...

Where have I been?...Apparently under a rock...I just found out the name of the alleged mistress to Ashton Kutcher...She is Sara Leal...Well, she must not be too shy since she's told Us Weekly that she had unprotected sex with Demi Moore's husband...And maybe she's not too smart either...Doesn't she know that unprotected sex could possibly make you susceptible to getting STDs such as herpes or even HIV...The crazy choices people make...Condoms are available practically everywhere...Just stop by your local Walgreens and buy a box or two...Good health will hopefully contribute to your happiness...

Okay now, moving on from a real life drama to an on-screan drama...The movie Contagion was released nearly two months ago and has been received well by critics and audiences alike...Contagion has a stellar cast including Matt Damon, Laurence Fishburne and Kate Winslet to name a few...Fishburne and Winslet play Dr. Ellis Cheever and Dr. Erin Mears respectively...Contagion is a medical thriller movie where a lethal indirect contact virus, that kills within days, breaks out and of course they attempt to contain it...Apparently the scientic community was well pleased with the scientific accuracy of the film...Contagion's scientific accuracy is likely due to real life Dr. W Ian Lipkin who was the film's scientific consultant...Let me know your personal take on the movie by leaving a comment below...

McDonald's Monopoly vs Dark Souls...

Recently released Dark Souls, action-adventure role-playing game, works on both the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360...Although my kids love a good game, this is one game that I would prefer they not play...What do I know???...Dark Souls has been reviewed favorably by gamers with scores of about 9/10 and one said it is "a very hardcore dark-fantasy RPG"...Oh why, why, why did they ever take the moment of silence out of the public school system...I think that has led to a darker society as a whole...But then again, who am I?...What do I know?...I don't even know how to play games on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 anyway...Crazy for me to give my opinion then...Yeah, I know...

Scrabble anyone???...Now Scrabble, that's one of the games more up my alley...I can also play a good rip-roaring game of monopoly...Speaking of monopoly, I am sure you know that McDonald's Monopoly game is in full swing as I type this post...Sadly enough the opportunity to get the free game pieces via self-addressed stamped envelope is basically finished... Some Movies Break Records Like Crazy...Paranormal Activity 3...

I don't know if Casey Anthony is into horror movies or not...Because I surely am not!!!...The first one to turn my stomach was The Exorcist...That horror flick managed to single-handedly turn me against all others...I was crazy, scared for probably years to come...

Now for all you horror film fanatics there's a new one out...Probably not news to you though, as I am sure that you already were aware...Paranormal Activity 3, was released a few nights ago and broke all kinds of records...

Paranormal Activity 3, set a new record for midnight opening of a horror film, best opening day in the U.S., the highest opening for any film in October, the highest opening for a movie in the fall and even set a record for the franchise (apparently there were two more of these before this one and this comes as a prequel for the others)...

You will have to let me know what you think about this movie because I am not even planning on watching a trailer from it on youtube...Crazy, I know...LOL...And by the time NetFlix adds it to its roster, hopefully I will have forgotten it ever existed...
