Viral Hoax verified: Jon Bon Jovi is NOT DEAD

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Rabu, 21 Desember 2011 | 20.07

Welcome to the viral internet age, where celebrities reach their untimely demise

Jon Bon Jovi was alive and well in New Jersey on Monday night, tweeting and posting a picture of himself in front of a Christmas tree with a date stamp to squash the crazy rumors that he was dead...This apparently isn't the first time that he has been knocked off, and thankfully for him it is not his last...Check out this video from the HollyscoopTV that verifies that Jon Bon Jovi's death was just a rumor...

Probably a good number of "This Crazy Life !!! 's Blog" have been wondering if WAHM Shelley had fallen off a cliff somewhere...No need to worry as you can see I am still hangin on, much like Cliff Hanger from Between the Lions...

Apparently celebrities other than Jon Bon Jovi have been rumored to have kicked the bucket including: Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, Johnny Depp, Jackie Chan, Justin Bieber and Queen of the little monsters Lady Gaga...But the rumor mill for this round of  Dead Jon Bon Jovi headlines was kicked off with some mixed up old news from a 2009 report about the very real death of Michael Jackson...

Stay tuned, because we are on the brink of 2012, where apparently according to the Mayan calendar all of us will be history...and then...The throat sighs!

Top 20 Best Selling Tablet PCs at Amazon

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Senin, 28 November 2011 | 11.42

Kindle Fire is #1 but Asus Eee Pad Transformer is a Strong Contender

Cyber Monday Deals Week is in full effect today through December 3rd at Amazon...Black Friday's consumer spending this year was higher than it was last year...This weekend a new spending record was set at $52.4 billion...People are really getting into the holiday spirit...Well, it's Cyber Monday and there are plenty of deals to be had online and especially at Amazon.com...One of the hottest items of the year is the tablet PC...And lots of people will probably be stuffing stockings with those little gems...

I read today that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet PC won top honors in two categories at TrustedReviews... The Asus Eee Pad Transformer won in both the "Tablet of the Year" and the "Laptop of the Year" categories and then was named "Product of the Year"...Mainly because people really like how easily it transforms, hence the name, from a stand alone tablet to a very usable laptop device...Now if you are interested in buying one of these little transformers, you'll have to purchase the docking station (with keyboard on deck) separate, which gives it that laptop appeal...Another notable quality is that while docked the battery lasts about 14 hours (without the dock the battery life is 9 hours)...FYI, the Transformer also took the top prize of "Tablet of the Year" at the T3 Awards this month too...The Asus Eee Pad Transformer comes in at the numbers four and five slots on Amazon's Best Selling Computer Tablet list, while undoubtedly Amazon's Kindle Fire takes the number one position...

The Top 20 Best Selling Tablets at Amazon are listed here to ease your gift-giving selection process: (Please note that prices and availability are subject to change; Side note-these crazy prices were changing as I was drafting this article...Urgh!!!)

Which tablet PC do you think is the coolest???...Which one will you be giving this year???...Which tablet would you like to receive this year for being nice (instead of naughty)???...Let us know in the comments below...If I had to choose today, I would choose the Kindle Fire...

Watch "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" Trailer in HD

This newly released film is based on the novel written by Stephanie Meyer, Breaking Dawn, a vampires love story...The fourth novel was broken in two parts due to the complexity and length for film adaption...The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 has earned over $291 million worldwide since it's opening on November 18th...This  romantic fantasy movie's second part, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 is due to be released November 16, 2012...Summit Entertainment has produced the Twilight movie franchise and began with the release of Twilight in 2008, followed by The Twilight Saga: New Moon in November 2009 and then The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in June 2010...

Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn features Kristen Stewart in the role of Isabella "Bella" Swan, Robert Pattinson as Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black...Filming locations included Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Vancouver, Canada, Squamish, British Columbia and St. Thomas Island in the Caribbean...The movie is rated PG-13 and does not include the graphic gory details of the novel because it's rating would have had to have been raised to rated R and thusly preventing a large majority of the franchise's fanbase (the under 18 year olds) from freely attending the movie in theaters...

Kristen Stewart remarks about filming a particular scene in the movie, "I wanted to run down the aisle. I was literally pulling away from Billy Burke. Now it's a trip to watch the wedding scenes. It was so volatile and emotional—I was being such a crazy person." ...

Natalie Wood's Mysterious Death is Being Investigated Again

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Minggu, 20 November 2011 | 16.34

The Case of Natalie Wood, Death by Drowning has been reopened by the LA County Sheriff's Department

Near the 30 year anniversary of the death of Natalie Wood, one of America's legendary actresses, new evidence has prompted the new inquiry surrounding the circumstances of her death on November 29, 1981...At the time of her death there were three other people aboard the yacht which she owned with herhusband, Robert Wagner, the star of the television series Hart-to-Hart...Some of the inconsistencies in the stories of the persons on board the yacht, Splendour, surround whether she had gone to her stateroom before her husband and others and whether or not the family's guest Christopher Walken had retired before Natalie had...Her husband, Robert, has claimed that he last saw her alive in their state room as she was doing something with her hair...He then returned to the deck area to socialize more with their guest, Mr. Walken...Mr. Wagner's version of the tale of that night's unfortunate turn of events changed in regards to how the bottle of wine was broken...While the main person with a completely different narration of events was the captain of the boat for the evening, Dennis Davern...Mr. Davern has worn many hats in respect to his relationship with Robert Wagner and his deceased wife Natalie Wood...Dennis Davern has been reported as having been a bodyguard to Natalie and a confidante...Other times he has been described as a former roommate to Robert Wagner...And right now he wears the hat of co-author of a book with Marti Rulli entitled, Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour...Mr. Davern's most recent account of that fateful night involve accusations, arguments and unexplained bruises...

Natalie Wood's drowning occurred as the Splendour was anchored just 50 feet off the coast of Santa Catalina Island...There was heavy drinking by all parties onboard the Splendour that terrible night...Dennis Davern's latest version of events states that he and Robert Wagner discussed exactly what they would tell the investigators after Natalie's disappearance from the boat, to be certain their narrations matched up to ensure that there would not be any need for a more thorough investigation into her death...And of course, Natalie's death was ruled to be accidental drowning (see archived CBS News video below from 1981)...Not only has Mr. Davern's eyewitness account probably instigated the investigation into the cause of Ms. Wood's death being reopened, another witness, Marilyn Wayne says she heard a woman repeatedly screaming for help that night...Ms. Wayne says she tried to contact authorities on the night that Ms. Wood died, but there was no answer...The last scream that she heard in a woman's voice was around 11:45 pm that night...After Ms. Wood's body was found, a medical examiner said that Natalie Wood's finger were still pliable, meaning that rigor mortis had not set in...This fact alone leads him to believe that if they were alerted sooner she could have been saved...Natalie Wood's body was recovered six hours after she was reported missing...

In Mr. Davern's new account, he says that Mr. Wagner did not want the search light turned on and that he waited before placing the call to report his wife missing...Everyone associated with the couple considered them to be deeply in love...This was the second time they had been married to each other...Some, including Mr. Davern say that Mr. Wagner was extremely jealous of and over his wife...Mr. Davern recounts on that evening Ms. Woods and Mr. Walken, her co-star from the movie Brainstorm, were getting a tad bit too chummy, for Mr. Wagner...And his anger is what led to Mr. Wagner breaking the bottle of wine on the coffee table...Originally Mr. Wagner told investigators that the bottle fell and broke as a result of the yacht being tossed about in the waters...Later in a book authored by Robert Wagner, he says that he broke the bottle while having a heated discussion with Mr Walken...

The crazy sordid details that have been uncovered by investigators of both Vanity Fair's contributing editor Sam Kashner and CBS's 48 Hours investigative reporting team likely contributed to the investigation being reopened by the LA Sheriff's Department...The original article was published in Vanity Fair ten years ago, around the 20th anniversary of her death...And Reuters reports that an attorney out of Washington D.C. has been petitioning for a reopening of the case...

Natalie Wood appeared in 56 films for both the big and small screens, from the age of four or five up until her death at age 43 on November 29, 1981...She shared the screen with notables such as Orson Welles, James Stewart, Bette Davis, Bing Crosby, James Dean, John Wayne, Warren Beatty, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Peter Falk, Steve McQueen, Robert Redford, Sir Laurence Olivier, Christopher Walken and of course Robert Wagner, just to name a few...Some of her most acclaimed roles were in Tomorrow is Forever, Miracle on 34th Street, Rebel Without a Cause, Marjorie Morningstar, West Side Story, Splendor in the Grass, Gypsy and Love with the Proper Stranger...Her last film, which she co-starred in with Chris Walken, was Brainstorm...Brainstorm was released September 30, 1983...Natalie Wood's name at birth was Natalia Nikolaevna Zacharenko and she was fluent both Russian and English because she was the daughter of Russian immigrants...She and Wagner had one daughter together when they remarried and she had another daughter from a previous marriage...

Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris are Bond girls...

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Selasa, 08 November 2011 | 14.15

Bond is back...James Bond, that is...aka 007...After moving past looming bankruptcy woes, MGM made the announcement at a press conference held on November 3rd that the 23rd film in the James Bond branded movie collection will premiere in the UK and Ireland in October 2012, while the U.S. premiere is scheduled for November 2012...The press conference for the latest film entitled "Skyfall" was held on the 50th year anniversary for the very first Bond film, starring non-other than Sean Connery, "Dr. No"...

Agent 007 will be played by Daniel Craig for a third time, while Javier Bardem will portray the film's villian... And of course you know that, no James Bond film is complete without a smattering of "Bond girls"... Naomie Harris will be playing Eve and French actress Bérénice Marlohe will be playing Sévérine...Filming  officially began yesterday, November 7th...The venues for on location filming include Istanbul, Turkey, Argyll, Scotland, Shanghai, China and London, England...

There will be a documentary film crew following along with production of the film in commemoration of the50th anniversary...In 2002 there was a documentary about the Bond franchise based on the book "Bond girls Are  Forever: The Women of James Bond", written by former Bond girl, Maryam d'Abo...There have been a few unofficial James Bond movies, including "Never Say Never Again" featuring Kim Basinger as a Bond girl and the forever handsome Sean Connery... You will also find six video games in the James Bond branded entertainment franchise as well...

My personal favorite James Bond has always been Sean Connery...A classic classy Bond...And my most memorable Bond girl has to be Grace Jones...Maybe because her persona eludes to pure crazy...She was Bond girl to Roger Moore in "A View to a Kill", which also starred Christopher Walken...Let us know in the comments below, who your favorite actor is that portrayed agent 007, Bond...James Bond...Also tell us which is your most memorable "Bond girl"...Are you planning to head out to the movie theater to see Skyfall??? ...Come back and give us a review of the film, after you've seen it...

Walter Isaacson Answers the Question, "Who is Steve Jobs?"

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Sabtu, 29 Oktober 2011 | 00.34

Google search engine has been my go-to search engine for well over 10 years...I remember when I told my husband "the tech head" about it, I felt so proud because I actually found something worth sharing before he did...Well Google.com is what I use when I want to know "how to", or "what is" for most things...Now when I need to know driving directions my go to website is Mapquest.com ...When I am not sure of the correct spelling of a word or I need a synonym/antonym for a word I use Dictionary.com ... My favorite thing to know daily is weather so I typically use Weather.com for that...Although if I want to know about international weather BBC is my choice...

Now for anyone that wants to know "who is" or rather "who was" Steve Jobs, apparently this latest biography "Steve Jobs" is all that, by Walter Isaacson...Not only did Steve Jobs cooperate in the compilation of this book, he encouraged his friends, family and colleagues to be honest...Isaacson interviewed more than one hundred folks from friend to foe and extracted content from more than forty interviews in the composition of this book...The cover photo was hand-picked by Jobs, himself... Isaaccon wrote about Jobs, "He didn't invent many things outright, but he was a master at putting together ideas, art, and technology in ways that invented the future."...Jobs' legacy at Apple, Pixar Animation Studios and beyond include iPad, iPod, iPhone, MacBook, Mac OS and my favorite movie, probably of all-time, Toy Story...I say it was pure, crazy genius in his core...

Columbus Day with Jorge Luis Borges...

Written By Sidiq Martanto on Senin, 24 Oktober 2011 | 02.50

Can you believe it?...Columbus Day has come and gone...How did you celebrate the coming of Christopher Columbus to the Americas?...I barely noticed much fanfare where I live...Although, I am sure they were bustin up some moves at the parades in NY City and San Francisco...

Where I come from you can count on a slew of parades leading up to Mardi Gras...Well those were ome crazy times...Once at the parades in the French Quarter in New Orleans, my co-worker and I were aghast at the insanity of it all...It was our first New Orleans Mardi Gras adventure in the thick of it all...And we were running back and forth across the streets in awe like some little school girls...We kept saying to each other "and they are showing that (meaning normally publicly concealed body parts) for those cheap, plastic beads"...That was a wild and crazy scene, when I was a young college graduate looking to sideline on some new adventure...

But now, after being married with all these kids, it's just a distant memory...Columbus Day would have been complete for me with a few good books...I like Barnes and Noble okay, but I am a Amazon girl...For the next big holiday in the calendar, if I could have a Kindle Fire and ebooks from Jorge Luis Borges to snuggle up with, that would do it...Do you think they will have his book of Selected Poems for the Kindle out by black friday???
